Who’s Condemning Whom?

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

NOW: at this time, the present

CONDEMNATION: adverse, damnatory sentence; verdict

Churches, pastors, deacons, and christians have their own mathematical grading system tucked neatly away in their glaring eyes of sinless perfection. 1 John 1:9, Galatians 6:1, and 2 Corinthians 5:17 are by-products of spiritual self-preservation not easily shared with others.

Learning how to be abased and how to abound are qualities of many years gone by!  Unfortunately and with grave consequences churches, pastors, deacons, and christians place themselves in Christ Jesus’ position as stated in Romans 8:1.

With emphasis, I implore that the verse doesn’t say “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in CHURCH, THE PASTOR, THE DEACON, A CHRISTIAN.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

I challenge anyone to prove by the Word of God that there is a pastor or deacon who has abided by the characteristics in Timothy and Titus without error or failure.

So, it would be edifying to the flock if the pastors and deacons would climb down from their perch of holiness to join us lowly layman.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

By the way, the great Romans Road we use for witnessing isn’t just for the sinner but applies to the saint.
