Wife and Mother – Have you ever considered the following about a wife and mother?

The Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”

Not so of the husband

The Bible also expounds about a wife in Proverbs 31:10-31

Muse upon this:

Maybe husbands and fathers think too highly of themselves in a home when it comes to decision-making and leadership?

Is the wife involved in major decisions whether spiritual, physical, societal, or familial?

Do you, the husband, say, “Bless God this is what we are doing because God has led me to do so!” (All without considering the wife/ mother)

There is a divine order for the home, church, and government. However, when preaching Ephesians 5 while “fishing” for hearty amens when you hammer on “wifely” submission, don’t forget to reel yourself in with verse 21.

Seems to me, husbands and fathers aren’t as important as we’d like to believe.
