Let me share with you a burden! I want to be very transparent and forthright about the burden that consumes my thinking day after day. The burden isn’t a fly-by-night yearning but a call to the many Christians who have been left behind.
Here are the foundational verses that are the spiritual drivers associated with my burden: Please pick up your KJV and read these verses; Galatians 6:1, 1 John 1:9, Matthew 11:28-29, 1 Samuel 17:29, 2 Samuel 12:7, Esther 4:14, Ezekiel 33:6 and 37:9b.
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” FAITH VERSES
So, the fields are white unto the harvest; how am I applying this truth?
Consider this Christian: The spiritual fabric of our country is changing! The events that began in March of 2020 have seduced Christians to fabricate excuses to not meet for Worship. The closed church doors and failing church ministries wielded upon the country in 2020 are the faults of the Christian, not the government nor the “pandemic.”
For this reason, it is essential to consider the history of the Church and the great example provided in Acts. Pray about your position and desire to worship if your church doors are closed permanently.
As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Acts 8:3
The field that contains our burden includes the many Christians that were once faithful to the church but are now inactive. The reason for their inactive approach to church and worship isn’t important to me. So, what is the importance of my burden driven by a powerful mission? I so want these once active Christians to find an opportunity to serve again! No matter the past sin, error, broken relationship, church argument, hurt feelings, misunderstanding, or simply laziness…..Restoration, forgiveness, hope, love, and fellowship are available through Christ. I know God has precious saints waiting for a place to worship! The Holy Spirit is drawing and calling you home!
We are praying that the Lord will raise up a core group of saints willing to attend, pray, worship, and fellowship together. This faithful group will allow God to work and He will begin to strengthen and unify. Nothing is impossible with God. That being said, we want what the Lord wants! We are praying earnestly that He’ll make clear our place of service. Knowing that the local church is the method of service, this is the first choice for implementing and participating in full-time service.

I so want to preach to hungry souls who want to pray, cry, learn, eat :), fellowship, visit, and witness together. I want to preach God’s Word and allow the Holy Spirit to do everlasting work in our lives! Even more than that, God’s will be done!
