Psalm 17:8 “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,”
Acts 13:22 “And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.”
Now, isn’t that something we should grasp? The Word of God is explicit in ensuring that we understand this; all who make themselves available to serve the Lord are welcome to participate. The error, impropriety, discretion, failure, sin, or the opinion of a man is not enough to discount the guiding hand of the Lord as one yields to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
