Schools and Familial Destruction – No doubt, the approaches, and constructs with “covid” are a one-sided directive. Simply, those who don’t “buy in” to the implementation of controlled restrictions are deemed an outcast and unlearned – nothing could be further from the truth. Frankly, those who are the key players in the destruction of our country, homes, schools, and children tout themselves as experienced, astute, educated, and trustworthy.

Schools and Familial Destruction – Consider this:

We are warned in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

My Pastor tells us that there is a whom to be devoured. Is that “whom” going to be our students because of the “Corona Dividing Christians” syndrome?

Schools and Familial Destruction – Do these ring a bell?
  • In this together
  • For your safety
  • For the safety of others
  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds
  • Socially distance (causes us to distance socially understand?)
  • Mask up
  • New Normal
  • Contact tracing

“EDUCATOR – IF YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT THE GOVERNMENT AND THE LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT ARE GUIDING US TO A UTOPIA OF SAFETY BECAUSE THEY CARE FOR US – YOU HAVE LOST THE ABILITY TO ANALYZE DATA AND CRITICALLY THINK.”

The same government that kills millions of babies each year is now your hope for a healthy life – hogwash! Our educators have fallen asleep at the wheel while ignoring data that supports an over 99% “good to go rate” with covid-19.

The government has become the god of our “Christian schools.”
Trust the science the government says – sure! Yeah, how about trusting the science of life at conception? Educators, you are feeding lies and deceit that continue unchecked mental penetration upon our children. BTW, there is no science to support the masking protocol. Take time to review what is necessary to gain a conclusion from a scientific process.
The educators standing in front of our children day after day have become some of the most uneducated since March 2020.

There are 3 institutions in God’s Word: Home, government, and the church – Each institution has a head and the Head over all is Christ! I don’t see the school on that list.

Parents, you need to wake up and take back the minds of your children before the schools usurp themselves over you and the child.

Our nation is falling because Christians, churches, and schools are failing parents and students. The sovereignty of our homes and country has been willingly yielded and schools have played a significant role in this ungodly submission.

A recent letter from a local Christian school to parents is below. My comments are in bold.

Dear Parents:

To update you, about 50% of *** faculty and staff have already tested positive for Covid, and we are estimating about 25% of our student body has tested positive as well. We continue to be concerned about variant strains, reinfection, and lasting symptoms and side effects. A WILLINGNESS TO GIVE UP PRIVATE HEALTH INFO – WHY?

Two things recently happened almost simultaneously related to Covid-19 which may affect school at ***, and we want to share those things with you.

  1. ******* and ******* sent a survey to all PreK & elementary parents to obtain some input regarding possible changes to the structure and routine of the classroom.  Here are some interesting things the 57 parent responses told us:

    1. Over 50% of respondents were interested in making changes to schedules and routines, but that also means that a large number are still hesitant to make those changes too quickly.

    2. Most families who responded stated they want to move forward with changes but with the goal of as few quarantines as possible.

  2. The Indiana Department of Health released some changes in testing possibilities and quarantine procedures.  Here is a summary of what they released: WHY ARE WE TRUSTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT? – A SMALL AMOUNT OF AUTONOMOUS THINKING MAY PROVE BENEFICIAL. IF YOU GET SICK, GO HOME AND GET YOUR BLANKET/ HAVE SOME CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, DON’T TEST, DON’T QUARANTINE – WHEN YOU FEEL BETTER THEN GET BACK TO BUSINESS.

    1. As we have already been practicing at ***, students who are able to sit 3-6 feet apart and face forward may take masks off in the classroom.  When collaborating or moving in the classroom, hallway, etc. students MUST wear masks. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND OFFERS NO ALIGNABLE WISDOM

    2. The school may stop requiring students to quarantine if a positive test occurs within a classroom IF (HUGE “IF” HERE) students are 3-6 feet apart at all times AND wear masks AT ALL TIMES. MASKS ARE NOT A SCIENTIFICALLY SUPPORTED PPE – VERY EASILY PROVEN

    3. The IDOH will be providing KN95 masks, hand sanitizer, and BinaxNow cards to schools (amount unknown at this time).  Once ******* is trained in how to use the BinaxNow cards, she will be able to test symptomatic teachers, staff, and students (with parental consent) to more quickly isolate positive individuals and begin contact tracing. These cards may also be an option to allow the return to school on Day 8 of quarantine under new quarantine options. PARENTAL CONSENT!!!!

    4. If a positive individual and close contact are masked at the time of exposure, and the close contact remains asymptomatic:

      1. Although the IDOH is recommending a 14-day quarantine, students and teachers may return to school after 10 days provided that the individual never developed symptoms and are willing to wear their masks AT ALL TIMES upon return.

      2. NO student in this instance may participate in athletics or extra-curricular activities at the 10-day mark if he/she is required to remove a mask to participate.

      3. Students, teachers, and staff who have remained asymptomatic may return to school after seven days if a PCR nasal swab on days 5, 6, or 7 or an antigen test upon return to school on Day 8 is negative.

    5. KEY TAKE-AWAY: No more quarantines IF 3-6 feet apart AND masks at all times. ALL THE ABOVE IS NOT NECESSARY IF WE JUST LIVE OUR LIVES AND IGNORE THE DIRECTION OF THE GOVERNMENT. AGAIN, NO DATA TO SUPPORT THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR SCHOOLS, HOMES, COUNTRY, AND STUDENTS.

What does this mean for ***?

  • Reality check: We struggle to keep our kids wearing masks, (LOOKS LIKE THE KIDS ARE THE SMART ONES IN SCHOOL), especially in the secondary building.  Faculty/staff constantly remind students to wear their masks in the hallways and bathrooms and when collaborating with classmates.  If we really want no more quarantines, that means we will have to double down on our efforts to wear masks at all times, and that means we will have to start punishing students for not wearing masks.  Is that really what we want?  If not, assume students will continue to have to quarantine if they come in contact with someone who tests positive.

  • Changes we would like to make:

    • STEP 1: Allow 4th-6th to change classrooms

      • Start Date: Tuesday, February 16.

      • Students already share a Bible classroom (4th-6th) and bathrooms, so we know “germ-sharing” is happening.  Secondary students at *** do change classes, and it has not seemed to affect positivity rates at the school.

      • If students refuse or cannot wear masks when rotating, we will go back to NOT rotating classes.

    • STEP 2: Allow all PreK and elementary students to move to other classrooms for activity classes.

      • Start Date: Monday, March 15 (first day of 3rd Quarter)

      • This will occur IF we do not see an increased positivity rate after allowing elementary students to rotate content classes.

    • STEP 3: Lockers

      • Start Date: Monday, March 29 (first day back after spring break)

      • This is something we are considering for upper elementary and secondary students IF we do not see an increased positive rate after allowing all elementary students to begin rotating content and activity classes.

      • All students will wear masks at all times during the locker process or we will take this privilege away.

      • We are working on rotations to keep students spread apart while utilizing lockers.

We continue to pray for wisdom as we navigate constant change, and we so appreciate the patience and grace you have shown faculty and staff as we work to stay in school as much as possible and educate our students to the best of our ability.  We welcome your input, ***************
