Christian, don’t be confused about “obey them that have the rule over you” as mentioned in God’s Word. It is preached out of context in many of our churches. It is preached by hardline 501C3 and ultra-pro tax-exempt churches to rouse a hearty “amen” from the congregation. These same churches aim to please, cooperate, and bow down to government entities in the hope that protection will be available.

Wondering if most churches actually believe, “and the gates of hell will not prevail,” as related to the local church? Seems to me that their faith lies in Egypt. Greg Dixon used to say, “with shekels come shackles”

Why are preachers, pastors, and churches perverting the teaching of Romans 13 and Hebrews 13? You do realize that the home, government, and church have an obligation to serve God? So, why do pastors hammer on the church and the home while giving the government a free pass? (why? tax exemption) How about Caesar rendering unto God? We have NO obligation to the government unless the government is first in subjection to God. God is Supreme and has JURISDICTION over the home, government, and the Church.

Have we forgotten that Colossians teaches that Christ is Supreme!

Romans 3:4 “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”
